Pine Coast Culture Co. was founded by Connie and Chris - a mother/son team with a simple, shared mission: to offer everyday people accessible, local, and consciously created products that make them feel better on the inside and out.
Since 2016, we've been pursuing this mission by sharing our small-batch kombucha with our customers. With our a relentless dedication to using locally sourced, whole, raw ingredients (never added flavorings or extracts) and top-quality reusable containers, we're committed to improving the health of our customers, the community, and the environment. Chris grew up at the Jersey Shore, developing a deep love for the unique backdrop of the Pine Barrens and the Atlantic coast. In his mid-20's, Chris started running ultra-distance adventure races.
During his races, he became keenly aware of how sensitive the human body is to the quality of food that it's being given - both in what it contains and the intentions with which it was produced. Through Pine Coast, Chris aims to provide products that will nurture and sustain our customers in whatever endeavors they pursue.
Connie is a lifelong herbalist and entrepreneur, with a passion for sharing the benefits of healing foods. Pine Coast is the culmination of her journey from “Breast Cancer Survivor” to “Light Filled Thriver”.
Along with offering the products that facilitated her healing journey, she also joyfully shares the belief that, given the right conditions, our bodies carry the innate wisdom to heal themselves.

Jesse was born and raised in Bayville, NJ - the beautiful junction of the Pine Barrens and the Jersey Shore. This fittingly led her to develop into equal parts flower child and mermaid.
Jesse began brewing kombucha with Connie on weekends and breaks while she was pursuing her degree at the University of Maryland. She's been cranking out batches with us ever since - whilst contributing flavor ideas for quite a few of our classic brews in the process.

Johnny is a proud native of Port Jervis, NY and a fiercely competitive triathlete who has willingly offered himself as a test subject for probiotics in endurance sports.
Johnny has a wealth of business experience that he contributes to Pine Coast as we continue to grow. From running his own construction business to overseeing international licensing for international brands, Johnny brings killer insights and support to our team.
James grew up in a small farming town in Michigan, where he nurtured a keen love of the outdoors, fitness, and a wide range of creative hobbies. He's even written a few books!
At Pine Coast, James handles all of our creative needs. He created our beloved logo, designs our product packaging, and does the draft work for all of our fabricated assets. In other words, he does it all!
Jenny has been a veritable nomad for most of her life: born in Arizona, raised in New Orleans, with extended stints in California, Maryland, and New York, before relocating to New Jersey to support the Pine Coast dream.
Customers will know Jenny as the much friendlier half of our Farmer's Market team; employees know her as the calming balance around the business. From bottling 'booch to editing copy, Jenny keeps the Pine Coast machine a-workin'.
